What Leadership Anne Arundel has to offer
Community leadership training and education are the core focus for Leadership Anne Arundel. LAA's mission is to develop diverse networks of informed, proactive, and resourceful leaders who will create a more vibrant county and region.
Through its three programs, LAA helps individuals who live or work in Anne Arundel County to acquire the knowledge and understanding of civic leadership through experiential sessions with a broad range of experts and leaders from all sectors of the community.
Leadership Anne Arundel offers participants an opportunity to:
- Gain awareness and understanding of the issues and challenges facing Anne Arundel County and the region;
- Develop leadership skills in areas such as team building, communications, group process, and developing others;
- Join an excellent and diverse leadership network;
- Become a more effective leader in the company or organization they work for;
- Learn to become trustees of the community;
- Be recognized for their voluntary community activities; and
- Be invited to take and active role in addressing community needs of Anne Arundel County.
